Pierrot’s Gender Reveal Party was devised for the 2019 Calgary Animated Objects Festival. Starring a queer cast, this piece aimed to engage in the absurdity of gender roles in our society through the spectacle of a gender reveal party. This piece was created by the ensemble and directed by me. Our all queer cast included Oliver Bailey (star), Maria Bustos-Sanchez (The Moon), Dakota LaPlante (star), and myself as Pierrot.
