This Side of the Blue — Lizz Windnagel

Co-directed by Lizz Windnagel and Alex Hathaway, This Side of the Blue was baroque/folk music shadow puppet story. The full length production premiered as a part of Open Eye Figure Theatre’s Platform Series in Spring 2014. This original story by Hathaway and Windnagel, told the tale of the coming of age of a young water nymph. Told through shadow puppetry, animation, and music, the production created a hero’s journey that was rich in visual and audible beauty.
